Xenophobia Attack: Nigeria will take measures to protect her citizens

The government of Nigeria has reacted to the continuing barbaric attacks on Nigerians in South Africa by South Africans, says the country will take definitive measures to protect her citizens.

The government explain through social media that President Muhammadu Buhari had already scheduled a visit to South Africa for October. They also stressed that the president of both African nations discussed about the issue among others at the sidelines of TICAD7 in Japan last month.

The statement reads:

The continuing attacks on Nigerian nationals and businesses in South Africa are unacceptable. Enough is enough. Nigeria will take definitive measures to ensure safety and protection of her citizens.
