The Peoples Democratic Party (People\'s Democratic Party) on Monday, Could 20, expressed certainty of victory for Atiku Abubabar on the presidential election tribunal, supplied the panel is neutral in the court proceedings.

The People\'s Democratic Party maintains that the election was won by Atiku, however that as an alternative of upholding his mandate, the presidency and the All Progressives Congress (All Progressive Congress) “are busy harassing our leaders and citing frivolous allegations against our candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar in a bid to distract us from the petition pending before the tribunal,” Vanguard reports. Talking with newsmen, the PDP’s nationwide publicity secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan, alleged that “…President Buhari failed on the three thematic areas of focus he anchored his 2015 campaign on.

“Nigerians compared their residing standards whereas the PDP was in power to the 4 years of the ruling All Progressive Congress and concluded that it was time to take back their nation.

That’s the reason we reminded fellow citizens that the election was a referendum on starvation, poverty, financial system, anti-corruption and what have you.

“Now we have robust proof that our candidate won the election and that’s the reason they are not comfortable right this moment. “They may increase one allegation or the opposite against our party and once you confront them to show same; they will maintain mum and then raise one more. Nigerians have seen through their lies and are no longer moved by such issues.

“We insist that our nation is certainly one of civilization. The PDP has nothing personal against Justice Bulkachuwa however we’re saying that on the basis of morality, she shouldn’t be part of a panel to listen to the petition of a party which listed the APC, the political platform of her husband as an party.”
