The chairman, Osun State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, Mr Soji Adagunodo, has stated the party would appeal the judgement of the Appeal court panel that upheld the victory of Mr. Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress in the final September election, Nigeria news live reports.
Punch Newspaper stated that in a phone chat with Adagunodo, , stated the panel relied on a technicality in giving its resolution.
“Technicality was what Wole Olanipekun laid before the courtroom. There was no argument in regards to the appeal of the Tribunal that gave us victory. We’ll upturn the judgement on the Supreme Court.
“It’s democracy at play. We’ll research the Appeal Court judgment appropriately and challenge it on the supreme court,” Adagunodo stated.
