How Man Sold Microscope Worth 1.7m for 5000 Naira Only

A 30-year-old man is at the moment in police custody after he infiltrated a hospital, stole a N1.7m microscope, and offered it out for N5,000 only, Nigeria news live.

The suspect, Hamza Sani, is alleged to have carried out the crime alongside 4 others in the Malunmfashi Basic Hospital in Katsina State.

In accordance with Northern City News, Sani was the primary suspected to be arrested in the case. Nonetheless, his arrest helped the police in nabbing his companions namely Magaji Yusuf, 36, Kannala Aliyu, 33, Emmanuel Ukelere, 48, and Saidu Shehu, 40.

In his response, Katsina’s Police Public Relations Officer, Gambo Isah, mentioned that Sani and the 4 other suspects had been in the act of robbing hospitals and carting away their tools, for a time frame.

He acknowledged that Sani had already given a confessional assertion on his involvement in the group’s activities.

The officer defined, “On Saturday, April 13, 2019, around 6am, the command succeeded in smashing a syndicate that specialises in theft of hospital tools.

“Nemesis caught up with Hamza Sani when he was arrested at Malumfashi General Hospital, Malumfashi, in possession of stolen hospital tools. In the midst of the investigation, Sani confessed to various associated crimes in the hospital and named the 4 other suspects as his cohorts.”

When he was subsequently paraded at the Katsina Police headquarters, Sani further confessed that he wanted to raise cash for the therapy of his sick spouse, so that prompted him to sell the machine for N5,000.
