The National President of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Rev. Samson Ayokunle, has blamed the rising security challenges in the nation on the best way government deal with the matter, Nigeria news live reports.

The CAN President acknowledged this while talking with newsmen in Maiduguri shortly after his arrival on Monday.

Rev. Kunle mentioned; “The leaders locally supervised by the federal government should be patriotic and bold sufficient to reveal dangerous elements in their communities for us to have peace.

” I’m in Maiduguri so as to add to the joy of our Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) during the coming Easter celebrations, I’ll speak to them to know that God is aware of what occurred to them and He will likely be on top of their issues ”

” we should always not deceive ourselves it’s not yet Uhuru, we’ve not defeated the Boko Haram or won the warfare, however their finish is in sight. We would not say we’ve won the conflict till all of the IDPs have returned to their locations of abode and live peacefully,” the CAN President added.

He frowned his face on how undesirable elements rising up and nothing is being done, stressing that all this factor ought to have been hipped in the bud.

He stated non of the denomination was not affected by the insecurity in Adamawa, Borno, Yobe, Plateau, Zanfara, Enugu among others but EYN was the worse hit, because it has a dominance in the Northeast.
